Welcome to Vedic Society

Congratulations on this new website. I am the education administrator at the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque and so happy to see your successful launch. It is well presented and I look forward to checking in from time to time. Also, I am so happy to hear your use of solar and wind energy. This sets an example of practicing respect for mother earth. Well done!
Ellie Hadsall, The Ayurvedic Institute

Namaste

We are presently working on our new enhanced website so kindly be patient if things look a little out of place.

Should you be a talented graphics designer, artist or web programmer, you are welcome to volunteer and join our web rework team.

The new site should be ready soon.

Somayajnya 2010 - India

From April 24th - 30th we will be performing a Somayajnya for creating vibrations of healing, love and peace upon the entire planet. Yajnyas and particularly Somayajnyas are the Vedic technology to purify and balance the planet. By regularly performing large Yajnyas in the correct way, a profound wave of healing is brought upon the earth that helps to avert disturbances and harm of every form. All Vedic science is based on heart-soul technology where the ultimate outcome of any practice or action is that there is more light and bliss for all. Modern quantum physics shows how yajnyas inject waves of coherence into the atmosphere that resonate multi-fold effecting subtle and gross systems upon the planet. When a large group of Vedic pundits perform these yajnyas the effect is multiplied and when it is over a longer period, more energy is generated that can nourish and heal all.

If you wish to find out more about our Somayajnya kindly contact us.

Living Traditions

The pundits who are qualified to perform Somayajnyas are born in special families that learn very specific chanting of Vedic mantras for childhood. The tradition has continued since the beginning of time with the knowledge being passed from generation to generation. Father to son, father to son. This is called Parampara in India and it can be equated to an unbroken stream bubbling forth from it's source.

One of our works at Vedic Society is to keep these living traditions alive so they can be maintained for future generations. The way this is done is through continually performing Somayajnyas so that the pundits can continue doing what they have been doing for thousands of years.

Meet the Pundits

In a short while we will be featuring some of the pundits performing our forthcoming Somayajnya here.
