This is the welcome screen of iAgnihotra when you run it first and also each time you run it. -
This is just a friendly note to inform you to set your location so iAgnihotra can calculate your Agnihotra times.
The easiest method is to use your GPS or the Apple location services which are selected in the GPS tab in this menu
Just in case you don’t have a GPS or are not connected to the Internet where Apple’s location system can thus work you will get the following error notification on this screen. - Looking up a location using the Internet.
It’s easy to lookup a location if your device is online.
Firstly select online from the tab at the top.Then simply start tying your location and click search. In no time it will hone in to your searched location. You can fine tune it by moving the red pin by holding and moving it.
- Setting your location from the built in atlas
If you have no GPS nor Internet connectivity you can use our built in atlas which has 1000′s of cities around the world. Firstly select the Offline tab at the top of the location screen.
Then choose your country and finally your locality. Remember to click Save once done. - Daylight saving time
If your locality is presently subject to daylight saving time simply turn it on here and the calculations will be automatically adjusted. - Using the day view
The day view is the default view and shows you your Agnihotra timings for the day you select.
It will automatically go to today but you can choose any day of the week ahead. - Jumping back to today
Simply use this button
on the today screen to return to today’s Agnihotra timings. - The month view
In the month view you can jump ahead or back in time to select any date and thus check Agnihotra times in the past or future as you require to see. - The Help Screen
This is the place you get help and can learn Agnihotra, the mantras, order Agnihotra supplies, order Agnihotra books, view our program user guide (this is what you’re reading now), suggest a new feature to us, visit the iAgnihotra home page and tell a friend about iAgnihotra. You will then get a menu with various options to share iAgnihotra with your friends.
The first option is e-mail: Select it and you will get a pre-composed e-mail to send to your friends which will use your devices address book. You can enter friends e-mails and also friends to CC it to and you can personalise the pre-composed message.

The second option is Facebook which allows you to share iAgnihotra effortlessly with your friends on Facebook. Login and it will post it to your Facebook page with a link to iAgnihotra. This is a great way to share iAgnihotra with all your friends in one click.If you prefer you can also tell your friends via the iAgnihotra website.
