Ayurveda

Ayurveda (Devanagari: आयुर्वेद ) or ayurvedic medicine is a form of alternative medicine in use primarily in the Indian subcontinent. The word "Ayurveda" is a tatpurusha compound of āyus "life" and veda "knowledge", and would roughly translate as the "Science of Life". Ayurveda deals with the measures of healthy living, along with therapeutic measures that relate to physical, mental, social and spiritual harmony. Ayurveda is also one among the few traditional systems of medicine involving surgery.

The ancient Vedic sages viewed the Earth[Bhu Matha - Mother Earth] as a divine goddess, a being who had feelings and consciousness, and who responded to our prayers and actions. The sages sang beautiful hymns of gratitude to Mother Earth, wished her peace in rhythmic peace prayers, and also performed elaborate fire ceremonies for her peace and happiness.

Jyotisha (jyotiṣa, in Hindi and English usage Jyotish) is the Hindu system of astrology, one of the six disciplines of Vedanta, and regarded as one of the oldest schools of ancient astrology to have had an independent origin, affecting all other schools in and around India. The Sanskrit word derives from jyótis (disjointed as "Ja"+"Ya"+"O"+"T"+"ish" to get the root meaning as "water or birth"+"in addition to" + "earth" and "stars" + "knowledgeable" equating as one who is knowledgeable, or enlightened with knowledge, of birth, fate, and relationship to water, earth and stars) or which means "light, brightness", but in the plural also "the heavenly bodies, planets and stars".

Veda means truth. Truth is something unchanging it is the same today and tomorrow. Through billions of years of change of ideas coming and going of bodies coming and going of seasons of nations of planets, galaxies, universes, truth remains one.

Vedic knowledge is based on absolute understanding of reality as it has been perceived by divine Rshis and revealed directly from the source of all. Our so called “modern” knowledge systems give us what appears to be advancement but the price tag is the ultimate destruction of nature and much more.

Vedic wisdom is here, has always been here, will always be here. It can not be destroyed as it's source is the source of all. Even if all books were lost if all memory was lost, it would re-appear for higher beings would take human birth to remind us this is the map of the universe this is the path of creation.

So when one awakens from the deep sleep that is living without proper wisdom and proper guidance, one realizes that there are pools of knowledge that have always been available and they are always there when one is ready.

The soul is always ready, it always remembers from where it has come and to where it will return but the mind gets clouded by overloaded highways of information feeding the senses and ultimate confusion prevails.

Vedic wisdom is here to bring clarity, the ultimate answer the full stop. The ocean of wisdom is vast but it is one ocean, you can swim on the shore, you can dive deep you can play in the pools but the ocean is one.

We named Vedic Society as an expression of representing how the society should be, it should be Vedic which means it should be aligned with truth and eternal wisdom, today we see so much trial and error, so much error, so like a small child clambering to walk here comes a hand to help, the hand is the hand of the great sages of Bhaarata that gave us and continue to give us this wisdom, Vedic wisdom.

So walk with us on this journey to discover the self, to realize the absolute aim of life, to surrender totally to the supreme to live with eternal wisdom, with flawless understanding and with perfect guidance.
